Pre-Trip Guided Inspection & Vehicle Pickup
A thorough pre-trip inspection is your primary legal protection against pre-existing damage claims and fuel discrepancies.
1. The 3-Stage Pre-Trip Photo Inspection
Before handing over keys or unlocking the vehicle remotely, hosts must upload clear photos via the Fito Ride App:
1. Exterior Walkaround (8 Photos Minimum):
- Front bumper, grille, and headlights.
- Drivers side front fender, doors, and rear quarter panel.
- Rear bumper, tailgate/trunk, and taillights.
- Passenger side rear quarter panel, doors, and front fender.
- All four wheels and tire tread depth.
2. Interior Condition (4 Photos Minimum):
- Front cabin, steering wheel, upholstery, and floor mats.
- Rear seating area and trunk space.
3. Dashboard Metrics (1 Photo Minimum):
- Clear photo of the instrument cluster showing Odometer Mileage and Fuel/EV Charge Level while the engine/accessory power is ON.
2. Verifying Guest Identity at Pickup
- Verify that the person picking up the vehicle matches the verified guest profile name and photo in your host dashboard.
- Confirm the guest possesses a physical, unexpired driver's license matching the booking name.
- Never hand over keys to an unverified third-party driver.
